Ash Wednesday Services
There will be two benefice services for Ash Wednesday (on 18th February), please feel free to join us at whichever one is most convenient. The first one will be at Camborne Church at 10am and the second at Crowan Church at 7pm.
This is the service of ‘Ashing’ is an ancient custom where the ashes made from last year’s palm crosses of Palm Sunday are used to mark on the worshiper forehead a smudged cross as a sign and symbol of the penitential season that is beginning.
