We are trying to be a bit more ‘wild’ this year, by exploring different places at different times.
The aim of Wild Church is to support people of any age to encounter God (whatever they perceive that to be) and to build a loving relationship with God through being in the wild. It is not prescriptive and does not offer a limited number of right ways to achieve an outcome. The result of this should be that that participants find their own way to communicate with God, they feel more connected to creation and so want to steward it better, and that they know themselves to be loved as an amazing and valuable part of the bigger picture of creation.
Jesus and the teachings of Jesus remains as the focus for all that we plan. All activities are suitable for all ages, but some wild areas may be difficult to access for those with limited mobility, please talk to us if you feel this may be an issue.
